RaceRoom Telemetry
With Zero Setup

RaceRoom already streams its physics to shared memory, so there is nothing to configure. Start the Flowix agent, jump into a DTM, GTR or touring car and every lap lands in your account with tyre zone temperatures, brake heat, damper movement and sector splits.

Three Steps, No Config Files

1 Open a free account; no payment details are asked for.
2 Install the Windows agent and confirm the sign-in in your browser once. From then on it waits quietly in the tray.
3 Launch RaceRoom from Steam and head out. There is no Shared Memory option to find; the game shares its data on its own and the agent picks it up the moment you leave the pits.

Clean Laps, Real Names

The agent understands how RaceRoom reports a lap, so your history stays tidy without manual cleanup.

Car & Class
Ids turned into names

RaceRoom only shares numeric car and class ids. Flowix translates several hundred of them, so leaderboards read “Audi R8 LMS” in its GTR 3 group instead of a number.

Validity
Track limits respected

Laps the game invalidates for cutting, and laps begun in the pit lane or at session start, are flagged. They stay viewable but never count as a record.

Sectors
Split by split

RaceRoom's cumulative splits are converted to three individual sector times, so you can spot which part of the Nordschleife or Zandvoort costs you the most.

Only You
No replay noise

Replays, menus and AI-driven stints are ignored. Only laps where you hold the wheel are saved, along with front and rear tyre compound names.

What RaceRoom Shares, Sample by Sample

Recorded 60 times per second on every lap. The last row lists what the game keeps to itself.

Three Questions RaceRoom Data Answers

RaceRoom brake disc temperatures over a lap

Am I braking too early?

Overlay your brake pedal trace with a leaderboard lap on the 2D or 3D map. If disc temperatures climb late in a stint, the issue is fade, not your reference point.

RaceRoom tyre tread temperature zones

Is my setup cooking the tyres?

Compare the three tread zones per wheel after a run. A big spread across one tyre points at camber; a fronts-hot, rears-cold pattern points at balance.

RaceRoom damper speed and ride height traces

Why is the car nervous over kerbs?

Damper speed spikes and ride height drops show exactly which kerb unsettles the car, so you can choose between a softer line or a softer bump setting.

AI race engineer reviewing a RaceRoom lap

Talk Through a RaceRoom Stint With AI

Link Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or a model running in LM Studio to Flowix, then ask something like “Where does the fastest Zandvoort lap in my class gain on me in sector 2?” The assistant pulls your actual RaceRoom samples and answers with corner names, metres and km/h.

  • ✓ Knows weather and clutch wear are empty in RaceRoom and will not guess them
  • ✓ Reads tread zones, disc heat and damper speed to separate driving from setup issues
  • ✓ Benchmarks against the quickest laps of your car class on the leaderboards

RaceRoom Telemetry FAQ

No. RaceRoom publishes its shared memory automatically whenever you are on track. Install the Flowix agent, sign in once, and drive.

Nothing. Capture, the analysis page, lap overlays, leaderboards, CSV export and the AI connector are part of the free plan, which keeps laps for 31 days. PRO extends storage to a year and lets you hide your traces from other drivers.

RaceRoom does not share weather, handbrake position or clutch temperature and wear, so those channels stay empty. Suspension damage is reported as one value for the whole car rather than per corner.

RaceRoom identifies cars and classes only by numeric ids. The Flowix agent ships a lookup table with several hundred RaceRoom cars and classes, so a lap is stored as, for example, a Porsche 911 GT3 R in the GTR 3 class rather than as two numbers.

Yes. A lap that starts in the pit lane or at the session start is marked invalid, and so is any lap the game invalidates for track limits. Invalid laps stay in your history but never enter the leaderboards.

No. The agent only records while you are driving the car yourself, so watching a replay or letting the AI take over does not create laps.

Yes. The agent reads only your own car from local shared memory and never touches the network traffic of the game, so it works offline, in practice servers, ranked races and competitions.
