Free Telemetry for
Automobilista 2

Flowix records every AMS2 lap at 60 Hz with all 57 channels the game exposes: pedals, steering, 3-zone tyre temperatures, brake heat, dampers and ride heights. Compare laps, climb the leaderboards and ask an AI race engineer where you lose time.

Everything After the Chequered Flag

Drive. Flowix does the rest: recording, uploading, analysis and records.

AMS2 lap playback on a track map

Automatic Lap Recording

Every valid and invalid AMS2 lap is captured with sector splits and uploaded when you cross the line. No exports, no replays to save.

AMS2 throttle, brake and steering traces

Lap Analysis & Comparison

Overlay two laps on a 2D or 3D track map with a live delta, and see exactly where braking, apex speed or throttle pickup differ.

AMS2 track and car leaderboards

AMS2 Leaderboards

Personal bests and global records per track layout and car class, so you know how far you are from the front of the pack.

Share AMS2 laps with friends

Share & Export

Share laps with teammates via short links, or export them to CSV / CSVY for Excel, Python or your own tools.

How to Set Up Automobilista 2 Telemetry

1 Create a free Flowix account. No credit card required.
2 Download the 1.3 MB agent for Windows, run it and authorize it in your browser. It starts with Windows and sits in the system tray.
3 In Automobilista 2 open Options → System → Shared Memory and select Project CARS 2. This is the mode that exposes the full physics data.
4 Drive. After each lap the agent compresses it in the background and it appears on your dashboard within seconds.

All 57 AMS2 Channels at 60 Hz

Automobilista 2 shares more physics data than any other sim Flowix supports. Every channel below is recorded on every lap.

Why Extended Telemetry Improves Your Lap Time

Speed and pedal traces tell you where you are slow. AMS2's extra channels tell you why, and whether the fix is your driving or your setup.

3-Zone Tyres
Camber & pressure

An inside edge much hotter than the outside means too much camber; a hot centre means over-inflation. Fix it and you gain grip through every corner, not just one.

Brake Temps
Brake window & bias

Cold discs lengthen stopping distances; one axle running much hotter shows the bias is off. Combined with the brake bias channel you can set it with data instead of feel.

Dampers
Kerbs & bumps

Damper velocity and travel show where the car bottoms out or skips over kerbs. Ride heights reveal aero platform loss at high speed, the hidden cause of mid-corner understeer.

Grip & Slip
Traction limits

Slip speed per tyre separates wheelspin on exit from a front-end slide on entry, so you know whether to be gentler with the throttle or the steering.

AI race engineer analysing Automobilista 2 telemetry

Ask an AI Engineer About Your AMS2 Laps

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or a local model in LM Studio to your Flowix account and ask: “Why am I slower than my best lap through Senna S at Interlagos?” The AI reads your real AMS2 telemetry and answers with distances in metres and numbers from your laps.

  • ✓ Compares any lap with your best or a leaderboard lap, corner by corner
  • ✓ Uses the full AMS2 channel set: tyre temperatures, brake heat and dampers, not just pedals
  • ✓ Tracks progress across sessions: consistency, best laps and recurring mistakes
  • ✓ Free on every Flowix plan; works with free Gemini or a local LM Studio model

Automobilista 2 Telemetry FAQ

Yes. Recording, lap analysis, lap comparison, leaderboards, CSV export and the AI connector are free, with 1 month of cloud retention. PRO subscription keeps telemetry for 1 year and adds privacy controls.

Set Options → System → Shared Memory to Project CARS 2. This mode exposes the full physics data, including 3-zone tyre temperatures, damper velocities and ride heights.

All 57 Flowix channels at 60 Hz: motion and position, driver inputs, brake bias, 3-zone tyre temperatures, tyre grip, slip speed and pressure, brake temperatures, suspension travel and velocity, ride heights, weather, damage, boost, DRS, fuel and clutch temperature and wear.

No. The agent runs in the background and detects AMS2 automatically whenever the game is running.

Yes. The agent reads your own car's telemetry from shared memory, so it works in practice, qualifying, races, single player and online sessions.

The agent buffers telemetry in memory while you drive and compresses each lap on background threads after you cross the line. It uses about 5 MB of RAM when idle and makes no disk writes on track.

Yes. Because AMS2 exposes the full channel set, your AI assistant can query 3-zone tyre temperatures, pressures, brake temperatures and damper velocities through the Flowix connector, not only speed and pedal traces.
